DESCRIPTION:\n\nGather Together\nWestern Association Fall Meeting & Ecclesiastical Council for Lesa Branham\nSaturday\, October 8 at 10:30\nFirst Congregational UCC Springfield\n2100 S Bates Ave\, Springfield\, IL 62704\n\nCheck In and Registration begins at 9:30 A.M.\n\nLunch will be served following the conclusion of Ecclesiastical Council and meeting adjournment at 12:40.\n\nRSVPs needed by September 30.\n\nRegistration fee is $15 per person (no fee for retired clergy and their spouse/partner). Financial assistance available – please contact Rev. Santina Poor for more information.\n\nIf you cannot attend in person and would like to register to attend by Zoom\, we will send you a link. Please note this on your registration form.\n\nRegistration forms have been mailed and emailed to all Western Association clergy and church offices. You can also click here to download the form.\n\n \nDuring the meeting\, we will also convene an Ecclesiastical Council to discern the readiness for ministry of Lesa Branham. An Ecclesiastical Council is the opportunity for local churches in a region to hear from a candidate for ordination\, ask questions\, and affirm the individual’s call to ordained ministry. Clergy and Laity of the Western Association churches are invited and encouraged to attend to support Lesa during this pivotal moment in her journey of discernment. Questions should be directed to Robert Tallitsch.\n
