Friends across the Prairie Association:
Greetings!
We are picking up the work we agreed to at our business meeting last fall, to reaffirm our connections as the churches and clergy of the Prairie Association and create a governance structure that fits the present time. What that looks like depends on what we together find will work best, coordinated with our covenants with the wider church. The Spirit works through the gathered body, so your participation is truly vital. To that end, you are invited to join in the 2026 Spring Association Meeting on Saturday, May 2nd at Federated Church of Sycamore.
Our theme for this year’s meeting is: “A Reaffirmation of Community: How we restart living out covenant by gathering together”
Our time will be spent in group discussion and workshops, helping us to focus on what God is calling us to do and be as the Prairie Association.
Workshop descriptions and breakout information will be sent out closer to the meeting. A continental breakfast is included. Please specify any dietary restrictions/needs during registration.
The cost is $20 per person.
