“Preparing for a Movement: Lessons from Rwanda for Restorative Justice and Reconciliation”

The Justice and Witness Ministry of the CMA is sponsoring an event on November 5, 2018 (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and November 6, 2018 (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), a gathering of restorative justice and faith-based reconciliation organizations and leaders envisioned as a way to provide space to understand the structural roots of violence and trauma and the application of African world view, faith-based methods to address both the cause and effect, to move us to Ubunto and Shalom.

Location: South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 South Shore Drive, Chicago Cost is $50 for adults and $20 for students.
